Install the CommuneAI bot on a Discord server, then approve the text channels where it may operate.
Install and approve channels
- In Community → Discord, choose Add CommuneAI bot. Complete the Discord authorization for a server you can manage.
- Back in CommuneAI, choose the server and add only the text channels where the agent should operate. This is a separate approval from the bot's Discord permissions.
- In Discord, allow the bot to view and send messages in each chosen channel. If a channel says the bot cannot send there, update its Discord channel permissions and refresh.
- Ask a test question in an approved channel. You can disable individual channels or the server connection from Community without deleting the whole workspace.
