Terms of Service

Last updated: October 30, 2026

These Terms govern your use of CommuneAI at communeai.co and its related services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use CommuneAI for an organization, you confirm that you can accept these Terms on its behalf. Questions can be sent to support@communeai.co.

Accounts and workspaces

Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and use the service only when you can enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for activity under your account and for managing access to your workspaces. Tell us promptly if you believe an account or integration has been compromised.

Your content and connected services

You keep your rights in content you submit or connect. You give CommuneAI permission to host, process, index, and use that content as needed to provide and secure the service. You must have the rights and permissions needed to connect each website, repository, document, channel, or group and to let CommuneAI process its content and messages. Tell community members about the bot and provide any notices or obtain any permissions your community requires. Third-party platforms have their own terms and may change or restrict access.

AI answers

CommuneAI generates answers from connected knowledge and community context. Answers can be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Review outputs before relying on them for important decisions. You control which sources and community spaces are connected and how your agent is configured, including whether Smart Mode may consider untagged messages in approved spaces. An agent may process a message without posting a reply.

Acceptable use

Do not use CommuneAI to break the law or others' rights, access data without permission, send spam or harmful content, interfere with the service, bypass usage or security controls, or misrepresent an AI response as a guaranteed fact. We may restrict access where reasonably needed to protect the service, other users, or third parties.

Plans and payments

Plan features, limits, and current prices are shown on the pricing page or at checkout. Paid subscriptions are billed through our payment provider according to the interval you select. If you cancel a subscription, renewal stops; access to paid features can continue until the end of the paid period. Unused credits do not carry over unless the plan expressly says otherwise. Taxes, refunds, or payment disputes are handled as required by applicable law and the checkout terms shown to you.

Changes, suspension, and deletion

We may change the service or these Terms and will post updated Terms with a new date. We may suspend access for security issues, misuse, or nonpayment. You can request deletion of your account or owned workspace through the app. Deletion can take time and may be blocked by a legal hold or another legal obligation. Deleting an owned workspace also removes access for its members. Ending use does not remove obligations that arose before termination.

Service availability and responsibility

We work to keep CommuneAI available, but features may be interrupted by maintenance, third-party outages, or platform changes. To the extent allowed by applicable law, the service is provided without a promise of uninterrupted operation or error-free AI output. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
